We cut this slouchy duster with dropped shoulders and plenty of sweep through the body. The linen blend is light enough to catch the air while keeping some weight through the tiered skirt. Lake green gives the garment a soft, muted wash that pairs well over tanks, dresses, and swim pieces.

• Tie front and tiers. The front closes with simple self-fabric ties above a tiered, gathered skirt. We left the cut generous through the torso so the fabric falls straight instead of pulling when knotted.
• Lantern sleeves. Each sleeve gathers into a soft elastic cuff at the wrist. You can push the lantern sleeves up the forearm to hold volume or wear them long down to the hand.
• Deep side pockets. Two inset pockets sit right in the side seams below the high waist. They are cut deep enough to hold a phone without pulling down the lightweight linen drape.
• Linen blend care. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang on a line to dry. The woven linen blend softens with each rinse and will press smooth with moderate steam if you want fewer wrinkles.
