A wide harem cut with a high rise and volume that bows through the leg. We printed this lightweight linen blend in a sharp black and white checkerboard, then anchored it with an elastic casing and an exterior tie. It hangs loose from the hip down to the ankle hem.

• Black and white check. The board print sets crisp black squares against white across the entire cut. We align the grid along the outer seams so the pattern stays balanced over the curve of the leg.
• Drawstring elastic waistband. We gathered the top edge over an internal elastic band and added an exterior cord. You can cinch it high on the waist or knot it lower without binding the hips.
• Barrel leg volume. The legs widen outward through the thigh and calf before bowing gently back toward the lower hem. That extra cloth gives you space through the stride and lets the linen weave move.
• Side drop pockets. Two deep pockets sit right in the side seams below the gathers. We set them low enough to keep hands resting easy without pulling on the waistband.
