We cut these palazzo trousers with an A-line fall that starts wide at the hips. The waistband sits high, backed with hidden elastic behind belt loops and a clean hook-and-eye front zip. Front pleats add room through the thigh without pulling at the side pockets.

• Front waistband and zip. A flat front panel uses a clean zip fly with a hook-and-eye closure. We added belt loops over the waistband, while the back panel carries gathered elastic to keep the rise settled when you sit.
