We cut these very loose through the thigh and seat, mixing a wide palazzo leg with the ease of a dropped harem shape. The black and khaki stripe runs vertically down the linen blend, giving the wide fabric panels some direction. An elastic channel with a self-fabric drawstring anchors the waist.

Leg cut and volume. The legs drop wide from the hip and stay full all the way to the hem. It is a baggy silhouette that leaves plenty of room for air, letting the linen-blend cloth shift freely around the ankles.
Waistband and rise. We built the waist with a broad elastic band and threaded an adjustable drawstring through the front. It sits comfortably without pinching and stays put even when the side pockets are full.
Striped linen blend. The black and khaki vertical stripes are woven into a lightweight linen blend. The cloth arrives soft, vents heat in warm weather, and develops the casual wrinkles natural to loose linen weave.
Wash and care. Wash by hand or run on a gentle machine cycle in cool water. Hang them on a line to dry instead of using a heated dryer, and use a steam iron if you want the stripes flat.
