We cut these palazzo pants with a wide, straight fall from the hip down to a clean hem. The linen blend brings an open weave that vents heat and softens with wear. A smocked band anchors the high rise, paired with a working drawstring to adjust the fit.

• Smocked drawstring waist. Gathered elastic creates a broad smocked band that sits flat against the waist. We ran an adjustable drawcord through the channel so you can tighten the fit without bunching up the hips.
• Palazzo leg and ruffle. The cut runs wide from the seat down to the ankles, giving the linen blend room to move and catch the breeze. A subtle side ruffle runs along the outer seam to break up the long vertical line.
