We cut these loose palazzo trousers with a wide leg that ends in a cropped ankle hem. The linen blend keeps the cloth light and open for warm air. An elastic waist with a drawstring holds the rise where you set it, while deep patch pockets sit flat against the hip.

• Coffee stripe weave. The vertical stripe runs down the length of the leg in muted coffee tones. Woven linen gives the cloth a dry hand that softens with each wash, holding enough weight to drape without clinging.
• Elastic drawstring waist. We built the waistband with a broad elastic channel and threaded it with a matching drawstring. It stays flat against the waist, gives as you sit, and lets you adjust the rise without pinching.
• Cropped split hem. The leg stays wide from the hip down and finishes above the ankle with an open wrap split along the lower seam. That split lets the hem move freely as you walk and keeps the bottom cuff off the ground.
