We cut these wide palazzo legs with open side slits so the lightweight linen moves like a skirt. The waist gathers on a soft elastic band threaded with a self fabric drawstring. Deep side pockets sit flat along the seams, and the dotted print breaks up the sweep of the hem.

Slit rounded hem. Deep slits run up the outer leg seams to keep the hem moving freely when you walk. The bottom edge curves gently instead of sitting square across the ankle.
Drawstring elastic waist. A wide elastic band forms the waist, finished with an adjustable cord so you can set the rise. It sits flat without binding or digging into the sides.
Lightweight linen weave. The fabric is an open linen weave that vents warm air and softens with each cycle through the wash. It wrinkles naturally, hanging loose through the wide leg.
