We cut these wide-leg palazzo pants with deep side slits so the fabric moves freely as you walk. The linen is light and lets air pass through on hot days. A drawstring waist keeps the top flat while the cropped leg stays full down to the rounded hem.

  • High slit hem. Deep slits run up each outer seam to break up the wide leg and vent heat. We gave the hem a gentle curve so the corners do not drag or catch.
  • Drawstring waistband. The elastic band sits flat against the waist and adjusts with an exposed drawcord. It stays put without digging into your middle after hours of wear.
  • Lightweight linen weave. We chose a light linen that softens as you wash it. The weave breathes easily and holds enough weight to keep the wide palazzo legs from clinging.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash on a gentle cycle or wash by hand in warm water. Hang the pants to dry away from high heat, and use a steam iron to clear fold lines.
