We cut these palazzo pants with ample room through the thigh and hem so the linen hangs clear of the leg. The elastic waistband pulls on without hardware. A wine and blue floral print runs across the light weave, softening as it washes.

• Elastic waistband. The waist gathers on a wide elastic band that sits high and stays flat. It pulls on easily and holds the volume of the palazzo cut without needing a zip or drawstring.
• Wide palazzo leg. We cut the leg straight and generous from the hip down to the hem. The fabric falls away from the body, letting air move freely through the open linen weave on warm days.
• Deep side pockets. Two side pockets are set deep into the outer seams. They sit flat against the hip when empty and have enough depth to hold a phone or keys without pulling the waist down.
