We cut this pair with generous volume through the hips and thighs, borrowing ease from a classic harem shape and letting the leg fall wide. The waistband combines soft elastic with a functional drawcord. Dark gray linen blend gives the drape weight while staying light in warm weather.

Harem leg volume. The pattern gives the thighs plenty of room to move without pulling on the seams. Fabric drops straight from the hip into a wide lower leg that moves easily as you walk.
Elastic drawstring waistband. We gathered the top over a wide elastic band and threaded an adjustable cord through the front casing. You can cinch it tighter or let it sit lower on the hips.
Dropped side pockets. Two deep side pockets sit low enough along the outer seam to hold keys or a phone without bunching the waist. The fabric drapes over them naturally.
