We cut these loose trousers from textured corduroy for colder days. The high rise settles on an elastic band with an adjustable tie, while the legs bow out through the calf before tapering toward the ankle. Plaid patchwork panels across the knees add structure to the baggy profile.

• Curved barrel leg. The leg bows out wide around the knee and tapers back down at the hem. This curved shape gives you room through the thigh and calf without dragging on the ground when you walk.
• Plaid knee panels. We set contrast checkered fabric across the front of each knee. These horizontal seams break up the textured corduroy and give the front panels extra weight to hold their shape.
