We cut these sweatpants with a distinct bowed leg that bows out past the knee and tapers at the ankle. The high waistband pairs an elastic core with a flat pull cord so it holds without pinching. In dark gray fleece, the fabric has enough weight to keep the shape clear.

• Barrel leg cut. The curve starts below the hip, bows outward through the calf, and cuts back toward the ankle. It gives you room through the leg while keeping the hem clear of the ground.
