We cut these palazzo pants loose through the seat and thighs so the linen blend can hang straight down. The water blue and white check pattern keeps the weight feeling light. An elastic smocked waistband sits flat against the waist and holds without pinching.

Smocked elastic waistband. We gathered the waist with multiple rows of elastic stitching and threaded a functional drawstring through the center. It stretches over the hips easily and stays put without digging into your side.
Wide palazzo cut. The legs fall straight and wide from the high rise down to the bottom hem. We added a subtle ruffle down the outer side seam to give the hem extra weight as you walk.
Linen blend weave. The woven linen blend has a natural slub texture that softens with wear. It lets warm air vent through the open weave while keeping enough body to hold its wide palazzo shape.
Wash and care. Wash by hand or on a gentle machine cycle in cool water. Hang the pants on a line to air dry instead of using a dryer, and use a steam iron to smooth out hard creases.
