We cut these with a generous palazzo leg that falls like a skirt when you stand still. The front carries deep pleats below an elastic channel and drawstring waist. The linen-blend cloth is printed with an irregular beige and black dot pattern that breaks up the expanse of fabric.

• Wide palazzo cut. The legs run wide from the high hip down to a broad hem. Front pleats release volume through the thigh so the fabric swings clear of the skin and moves easily as you step.
• Waistband and drawstring. We set an elastic band all the way around the top and ran a self-fabric drawstring through the channel. You tie it where you choose to sit the rise, high on the waist or lower.
• Deep side pockets. The pockets sit right in the side seams and drop deep enough for a phone or keys. Because the leg has plenty of room, pocket contents do not pull the fabric tight across the front.
• Linen blend and care. The linen-blend weave softens with every wash while keeping its structure. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand in cool water, skip the dryer, and hang them up to dry in the shade.
