We cut these wide-leg pants from a light linen blend in mid coffee. Front pleating adds volume below the waist, letting the legs fall straight and wide like a divided skirt. An elastic band with an adjustable drawstring anchors the rise without pinching.

  • Wide palazzo cut. The legs fall broad and straight from the hips to the hem. Front pleats give the linen blend room to move, creating a loose hang that vents heat on warm days.
  • Adjustable drawstring waist. An elastic waistband sits flat and holds its position with an adjustable front tie. The band stretches easily and settles without digging into the waist.
  • Deep side pockets. Two inset side pockets are cut deep into the side seams. They sit flat against the hip line when empty and hold small essentials securely while you walk.
  • Linen blend care. Machine wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash cold with mild detergent. Hang the pants to dry away from high heat, and use a steam iron to relax the weave.
