We cut these palazzo pants with a generous leg that drops straight from the hip. The woven linen holds its shape while venting heat through warm days. An elastic waist with an adjustable cord keeps the rise sitting where you want it.

• Elastic drawstring waist. We gathered the waistband over soft elastic and ran a flat cord through the center. You pull it snug or wear it low without the band digging into your sides.
• Wide palazzo leg. The leg runs wide from the thigh down to a broad hem. That volume gives the linen room to swing as you walk and keeps the cloth off your shins.
• Side seam pockets. We set two deep pockets straight into the side seams. They sit flat when empty and stay deep enough to carry small things without pulling the waist down.
• Woven stripe pattern. The stripe black beige print runs vertically through the weave to break up the surface. Wash on a gentle cold cycle, hang dry, and press with steam.
