We cut these palazzo pants with a broad, ungathered leg so the coconut palm print lays flat across the fabric. The waist combines continuous elastic with a matching drawcord to seat the rise where you prefer. It is a loose, light cut that lets warm air move through the weave.

• Elastic drawstring waist. The waistband houses an internal elastic band that will not twist, threaded with a self-fabric drawcord. You can tie it high on the waist or knot it lower on the hips.
• Straight wide leg. Volume begins at the top of the thigh and carries straight through to the floor. The open leg opening keeps the cloth off your calves as you walk.
• Side seam pockets. Two deep pockets are sewn directly into the side seams. They sit flat when empty and are cut deep enough to hold keys or a phone without pulling on the hips.
