We cut these loose through the hips with a dropped rise that borrows from harem pants, then let the legs curve wide before easing toward the ankles. The linen blend is light and wrinkles naturally as you wear it. A drawstring runs through the elastic waistband to anchor the shape.

• Leg shape and volume. The cut balloons outward from the thigh and tapers back slightly at the hem. It gives the legs room to move without pooling underfoot. The drape stays wide while the fabric moves with each stride.
