We cut this barrel leg wide through the thigh and taper it slightly toward the lower hem. The patchwork stripe runs in alternating panels to break up the volume. A pull-on drawstring waist keeps the top flat and easy to adjust.

• Barrel leg cut. The curve starts below the hip, arcs outward through the mid-leg, and pulls back in toward the ankle. This shape keeps fabric away from the skin while holding a defined line.
