We cut this barrel pant with a wide arc through the leg that tucks back in toward the hem. Pieced panels set the vertical stripes slightly off-kilter across the front. An elastic waistband with a drawcord lets the rise settle where you prefer. The lightweight linen blend stays loose and lets air move through.

• Barrel leg line. The leg bows outward through the thigh and calf before narrowing at the ankle. This shape keeps fabric away from the skin without pooling on the floor, leaving the hem clean over flat sandals or sneakers.
