We cut these barrel trousers with wide mid-leg volume that curves in toward the hem. The lightweight linen blend lets warm air pass through while holding its shape. An elastic waistband with a cord tie sits comfortably at the natural waist without binding.

• Curved barrel leg. The leg bows out through the thigh and calf, then draws back toward the ankle. This creates room to move while keeping the hem clear of your shoes.
• Drawstring waist. We gathered the top onto a wide elastic channel and ran an adjustable cord through the front. It stays put where you place it without digging in.
