We cut these trousers with a fitted high rise in front and an elasticated back band. Front inverted pleats drop into a wide, sweeping palazzo leg that stays loose down to the hem. The linen blend keeps the drape fluid, finished with belt loops, a hook-and-eye fly, and deep side pockets.

• Front pleats and rise. Inverted pleats run straight off the high waistband to give the hip extra ease. A clean fly with hook-and-eye fastening anchors the front, while belt loops let you add your own leather strap.
