We cut these trousers with deep front pleats that open into a wide palazzo leg. The waistband stays flat across the front with a zip fly and hook closure, while the back gathers on elastic to give as you move. In Paisleygray, the printed linen blend has an easy drape that softens with washing.

• Front pleats and fly. Inverted front pleats drop straight from the high waistband into the leg, giving the linen room to fall freely. We put a hook-and-eye closure over a zip fly at the front, along with belt loops.
• Elastic back waist. The back band is fully gathered with elastic, so the waist holds steady without pinching. It sits high and keeps the seat comfortable whether you are sitting down or walking.
• Wide palazzo leg. The leg cuts straight and wide from the hip down to a deep hem. This open A-line profile moves air easily through the woven linen blend and gives the print full surface area.
• Washing and care. Wash on a gentle cycle in warm water or hand wash, then line dry in the shade. The linen blend will develop a softer hand and subtle surface wrinkling after its first wash.
