We cut these loose through the hips and let the volume drop into a wide palazzo hem. The red plaid weave is light, with an open structure that lets air through. A high rise keeps the waistband secure while the legs hang clear off the skin.

• Red plaid weave. The pattern is woven into a light linen blend that breaks in soft after washing. It wrinkles naturally through the day, holding its airy drape without turning stiff.
