We cut these pants wide through the thigh and taper the hem slightly to shape a loose barrel leg. The linen blend holds its grid pattern without feeling stiff, letting warm air pass through the weave. An elastic waistband sits high and stays flat across the front.

• Barrel leg cut. We added generous volume through the middle of the leg and pulled the lower hem back in slightly. The shape keeps the fabric off your skin on hot days while holding a distinct curved line from hip to ankle.
