We cut these very baggy through the hip and thigh, dropping the volume straight down into a wide palazzo leg. The coffee and white check breaks up the surface, while the high waist sits flat and lets the linen hang. It is an unhurried cut for warm days.

• High waist cut. The waistband sits high on the natural waist so the fabric drops without clinging at the hip. That rise gives the leg room to fall straight down.
• Coffee check weave. The yarn-dyed pattern sets warm coffee against soft white. Because the pattern is woven into the linen blend rather than printed on top, it keeps its tone through regular washing.
• Dropped side pockets. We set the pockets low on the hip seam. They sit deep enough to carry daily items without pulling the outer line of the wide leg out of shape.
