We cut these with plenty of room through the thigh and calf, then gather the volume back at the ankle with light elastic cuffs. The high rise sits on a gathered waistband anchored by an adjustable drawstring. Lake blue brings a cool, washed tone to the open-weave linen blend.

High drawstring waistband. We gathered the top edge over a wide elastic band and threaded a matching drawcord through the front. The casing stays flat against the waist, letting you cinch the rise higher or drop it lower on the hips.
Balloon leg shape. Deep gathers below the waist open into a wide, rounded leg that curves outward before drawing in at the hem. The fabric hangs away from the knees without catching as you walk.
Elastic ankle cuffs. Soft elastic rings each ankle opening to hold the lantern shape in place. The gather keeps the hem off the ground and stops the wide lower leg from dragging.
Linen blend care. This linen blend softens after washing and lets heat escape through the weave. Machine wash cold with similar colours, skip the bleach, and hang dry or press with steam to smooth the natural wrinkles.
