We cut these trousers with extra width through the thigh and calf, then curve the outer seam inward toward the ankle. The orange stripe pattern runs vertical down the open-weave linen cloth. A soft elastic waistband with a matching drawcord settles high on the waist.

• Curved barrel leg. The leg panels bow outward from the hip to give your knees room, then taper back down at the hem. This shape keeps the hem off the ground while preserving volume through the middle.
• Drawstring elastic waistband. We set a broad elastic band into the top seam and threaded a flat self-fabric cord through the front. It gathers evenly around the waist and holds without pinching.
• Slanted side pockets. Two deep pockets sit right into the forward side seams. We lined them with the same lightweight linen so they sit flat against the hip when empty and carry keys without sagging.
• Linen care. Wash this linen by hand or on a gentle machine cycle in cool water. Hang the pants on a line to dry naturally. The weave will relax and soften with every wash.
