Ribbed corduroy gives these wide trousers enough body to hold a curved barrel leg through cold weather. We added an elastic waist with an adjustable drawstring so the fit stays easy through the seat and thighs. Big plaid utility pockets break up the khaki cord along the outer seams.

• Ribbed corduroy fabric. The medium-weight corduroy has raised ribs that trap warmth for cooler days. It holds the curved shape along the outer seams without feeling stiff, softening steadily through repeated machine washing.
• Curved barrel leg. We bowed the side seams out through the knee and tapered them back toward the ankle. This slouchy cut keeps excess fabric from dragging around your shoes while preserving total room through the leg.
• Plaid utility pockets. Large side patch pockets use a contrasting plaid weave accented with metal corner rivets. They sit flat against the hip and carry everyday items without pulling the drawstring waistband down.
• Wash and care. Wash cold on a gentle cycle to protect the ribbed pile and the plaid patch fabric. Hang them up to dry so the corduroy keeps its texture and the leg shape settles naturally.
