We cut these everyday trousers from a moderate weight corduroy that holds warmth in cooler weather. The barrel leg curves outward through the thigh and tapers slightly toward the hem, giving the cut its baggy shape. An elastic drawstring waistband keeps the fit relaxed through the seat.

• Barrel leg cut. The wide leg bows out along the side seam and pulls back in slightly at the ankle. This shape keeps the hem off the ground while leaving plenty of room through the knees.
• Waistband construction. An elastic channel wraps the entire waist, paired with an adjustable fabric tie. It sits comfortably without digging in and adjusts quickly when you layer tops underneath.
• Four cargo pockets. We stitched functional utility pockets along the sides alongside the upper hip pockets. They sit flat when empty and carry daily essentials without pulling the fabric out of line.
• Washing and care. Machine wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash cold to keep the corduroy ribs soft. Lay the trousers flat in the shade to dry, and avoid high iron heat.
