We cut these sweatpants with a distinct barrel leg that bows out through the calf and pulls back in at the hem. The interior has a brushed fleece backing for cooler days. A wide elastic waistband keeps the rise secure without pinching.

• Curved barrel leg. The leg pattern arcs outward below the hip and tapers gently toward the bottom opening. This gives you room through the knee while keeping the hem clear of your shoes.
• Brushed fleece interior. We used a cotton blend knit with a soft fleece back facing the skin. The outside is smooth, and the inner pile holds warmth during chilly morning walks.
