Fleece lining adds weight and holds warmth through cooler months. We shaped these sweatpants with volume through the thigh and knee, then tapered the hem slightly toward the ankle. The elastic waist stays flat without pinching. Deep jujube red gives the cotton-blend fleece a rich, muted tone.

• Barrel leg shape. The pattern bows outward through the leg before narrowing slightly at the opening. This curved volume lets the fleece drape loosely instead of clinging to the knee.
• Fleece-lined cotton blend. We chose a cotton and polyester blend with a brushed fleece interior. The smooth outer face resists surface pilling while the inside traps warm air across cold days.
• Soft elastic waistband. A wide band of enclosed elastic anchors the waist. It stretches easily as you move and sits flat without hard hardware or drawstrings pressing into the skin.
• Deep jujube red. The jujube red shade is dyed deep into the yarn for a solid, warm cast. Wash the pants in cold water with like colours to keep the fleece soft.
