We cut these track pants with volume through the thigh and a gentle taper down to the ankle. The cotton-blend knit holds its rounded shape without stiffening up. A contrast piping runs down the outer seam to anchor the soft pink purple tone.

• Barrel leg shape. The pattern curves outward past the hip and comes back in toward the hem. That extra room lets the knit drape freely rather than clinging to the knee.
