We cut these sweatpants with outward volume through the thigh that tapers back in toward the ankle. The mid-weight cotton fleece holds that rounded shape without collapsing. A pull-on waistband and piped outseams keep the build practical for daily wear.

• Barrel leg shape. The pattern bows out past the hip and thigh, then narrows down at the hem. That curve gives the leg room without pooling around your shoes.
