We cut these culottes with a generous wide leg that falls short of the ankle. The knit fabric carries a soft hand and built-in stretch so it moves without pulling. An elastic waistband with a matching flat drawstring anchors the rise right where you set it.

Cropped wide leg. The leg opens wide right at the hip and drops straight down to a loose, calf-skimming hem. Air moves freely through the wide opening, while the shorter length keeps the hem clear of footwear.
Drawstring waistband. We set a broad elastic band into the waist so the fabric does not dig or fold over. A matching front drawstring lets you cinch the waist tighter or loosen it as needed.
Side slant pockets. Two deep pockets sit along the side seams without breaking the drape of the leg. They sit flat when empty and stay deep enough to hold a phone or small items securely.
Navy stretch knit. The knit has a smooth, brushed surface that feels soft against bare skin. We dyed this run in deep navy, a solid dark shade that washes clean on a gentle cycle in cold water.
