We cut these culottes with a wide, cropped leg that falls well clear of the ankle. The knit fabric carries enough stretch to move easily while holding a clean, soft drape down the leg. An adjustable drawstring through the waistband lets you set the rise where you want it.

Cropped wide leg. The leg opens wide from the hip down to a clean cropped hem. Air moves freely through the lower leg, and the hem stays clear of footwear when you walk.
Drawstring waistband. We set a wide elastic band at the waist and threaded it with a matching flat cord. You can cinch it tight or let it rest low on the hips without binding.
Side pocket construction. Two inset pockets sit flat along the side seams. We anchored the pocket bags deep enough to hold keys or a phone without pulling the waistband down.
Light coffee knit. This soft jersey knit has a gentle stretch and a light brushed finish. Wash on a gentle cold cycle and lay flat or hang to dry to keep the drape intact.
