We cut these high-waisted culottes with plenty of volume through the thigh and calf, stopping well above the ankle. The soft stretch fabric drops straight from the gathers without clinging. An adjustable drawstring over the elastic waist keeps the rise right where you set it.

High drawstring waistband. An elastic band anchors the top edge, threaded with a self-fabric drawcord. You can cinch it tight or let it sit easy without the casing rolling over.
Cropped palazzo leg. The leg panels flare wide from the hip down to a clean, turned hem below the knee. The wide opening lets air move freely around the calf.
Side seam pockets. Two deep pockets sit along the side seams, sewn flat to stay smooth against the hip. They hold a phone or keys without pulling the waist down.
Soft stretch fabric. The knit cloth has a brushed finish and built-in stretch that recovers after sitting. Wash on a gentle cold cycle and lay flat to dry to keep the shape.
