We cut these cropped culottes with plenty of volume through the calf so air moves easily around the leg. The fabric has light stretch and sits loose below the hips. A drawstring waistband keeps the fit adjustable throughout warm afternoons.

Drawstring waist. The wide elastic band sits high on the natural waist. An integrated tie lets you tighten or loosen the fit depending on how you like the rise to rest.
Cropped palazzo leg. The cut widens steadily from the hip down to a broad cropped hem. That extra width keeps fabric off the skin and lets heat disperse while you move.
Inset side pockets. We stitched two deep pockets into the side seams. They sit flat when empty so they do not add bulk along the hip line.
