We cut these trousers with an open leg that falls straight from a high rise. The linen blend softens with wear while holding its line down to the cuff. An elastic waistband with an adjustable cord keeps the top secure without pinching.

• Wide palazzo leg. The leg runs wide through the hip and stays broad all the way down to the hem. Diagonal stripe details at the cuff give weight to the bottom edge so the cloth hangs straight without clinging to the calf.
• Elastic drawstring waist. We gathered the top onto a wide elastic channel and ran an adjustable cord through the front. The casing stays flat against the skin and lets you adjust the hold across the high waist.
• Linen blend weave. The lightweight blend combines the dry hand of linen with a soft wash finish. It lets heat vent through the open weave and develops a gentle rumple across the leg as you move through the day.
