We cut these trousers wide from the high waist down to a broad hem. The lightweight linen blend keeps air moving, while the vertical black and white stripe gives the full palazzo leg clean definition. Deep dropped side pockets sit flat against the hip until you use them.

• Elastic waist and tie. We build the waistband with encased elastic that settles high on the waist without pinching. An adjustable fabric tie lets you tighten the gather to keep the trousers secure throughout the day.
• Full palazzo cut. The legs fall straight and wide from the hip, creating a loose drape that does not bind around the knee. Diagonal striped cuffs weight the bottom edge so the trousers hang straight when walking.
