We cut this two-piece set from a light linen blend that softens after washing. The long-sleeve shirt falls straight through the body, while the trousers sit high on an elastic waist and drop into wide legs. Woven navy stripes run vertically down both pieces to break up the surface.

  • Button front and collar. The shirt is cut with dropped shoulders and a full front placket. You can wear it buttoned up or open over another layer. The cuffs are wide enough to roll up without binding.
  • Elastic waist and rise. The trousers sit high on the waist with a broad elastic band that stays flat. We kept the rise generous so the fabric does not pull when you sit down.
  • Deep side pockets. Both side pockets are anchored into the trouser seams. We cut them deep enough to hold a phone or a key ring without dragging the waistband down.
  • Wash and dry. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold or warm water and hang on a line to dry. The linen blend relaxes with each wash and presses easily with a steam iron.
