We cut this two-piece set for warm weather from an open linen blend dyed in solid bright pink. The top is a loose long-sleeve button-down with dropped shoulders, paired with high-rise pants that fall straight from an elastic waist down to wide hems. Both pieces soften as they are washed.

• Elastic high waistband. The trousers pull on over the hips with an encased elastic band that sits high on the waist. It gathers the linen blend evenly and stays flat under the hem of the loose button-front shirt.
