We cut this lounge pant from a midweight knit that falls away from the hip and curves outward through the calf. The gray blue stripe runs vertical to settle the volume. It pulls on over the hips with an elastic channel and an adjustable drawcord.

• Bowed barrel leg. The leg widens through the knee and tucks back toward the ankle. This curved outer seam gives the pant its rounded profile without binding around the shins or calves.
• Drawstring knit waistband. An enclosed elastic band anchors the top edge so the fabric sits flat against the waist. We ran a flat tie through the front casing to adjust the tension as needed.
• Side slant pockets. We set deep pockets directly into the side seams. They sit smooth along the hip line when empty and hold small daily carry without pulling the knit out of shape.
• Cold wash care. Machine wash cold with like colors to protect the gray blue stripe pattern. Air dry flat or tumble dry on a low setting so the knit keeps its soft surface.
