We cut these ankle pants with a full palazzo sweep and gather the lower hem into an elastic ruffle with tie details. The high rise secures with an enclosed elastic band and front drawstring, while deep side pockets sit clean against the hip. It is an airy summer cut that clears the footwear beneath.

• Ankle ruffle hem. The wide palazzo leg gathers near the base with elastic and fabric ties, creating a soft ruffle that stops right at the ankle bone. It breaks up the full line of the leg without dragging on the ground.
