We cut these cropped pants with a wide, easy leg and finish them with an openwork lace band along the hem. The linen and rayon weave is light, soft to the hand, and drops straight from the hip. An elastic waist with a flat drawcord keeps the fit relaxed through the middle.

• Lace hem detail. The hem ends with a band of geometric lace that lets air through. It adds just enough weight at the bottom of the cropped leg to keep the linen blend hanging straight instead of clinging.
