We cut these cropped pants with a generous barrel leg and a soft dot pattern in black and white. The linen and rayon weave stays light and drops straight from the gathers. A wide lace border trims the bottom edge so the hem sits clear of the ankle.

• Lace hem band. The lower hem finishes with an inset band of open lace work. It adds weight to the bottom edge of the wide leg, keeping the cropped cuff open around the calf as you walk.
