We cut this summer blouse with a clean V-neck framed by openwork lace trim. The lightweight linen blend keeps air moving, while the three-quarter sleeves give light coverage without clinging. It has a slightly neater cut through the shoulders and torso than our boxy tops, finishing with a straight hem you can leave loose or tuck.

• Lace V-neck. Openwork lace frames the front neckline, leaving the collar flat against the chest. The split cut lets the shirt sit open across the collarbone without pulling.
• Three-quarter sleeves. The sleeves end past the elbow with a straight, unbanded hem. They stay loose around the forearm so fabric does not bind when you bend your arms.
