We cut these palazzo pants with ample room through the leg so air moves freely around the cloth. The lightweight linen blend hangs straight down from a flexible gathered waistband to a generous hem. Vertical stripes run top to bottom in a warm rust yellow shade.

• Elastic drawstring waist. We combine a wide band of encased elastic with an external drawstring. The band holds flat across the hips without pinching, while the ties let you adjust the tension through the rise.
• Wide palazzo cut. The legs fall straight and wide from the hip down to the hem. There is no taper here, which lets the lightweight linen blend billow slightly as you walk and drape cleanly when standing.
• Side seam pockets. Two deep pockets sit right along the side seams. We anchor them flat inside the waist so keys and phones do not pull the stripe out of alignment or bunch up the hip line.
• Washing and linen care. Wash in cool or lukewarm water on a gentle cycle, or wash by hand. Hang the pants to dry away from high heat, and use a steam iron to relax the natural wrinkles in the weave.
