We cut these shorts with the wide volume of an A-line skirt, broken into soft tiered ruffles. The linen-blend weave vents heat easily in warm weather. An elastic waist with an integrated drawstring holds the rise securely without binding.

• Tiered skirt cut. The wide leg splits under gathered tiers that fall with the drape of a summer skirt. You get full freedom of movement while the hem hangs loose and airy around the thighs.
• Drawstring elastic waistband. We set a broad elastic band into the top seam and ran a functional drawstring through it. It stays level on the hips, holds firmly, and lets you reset the tension whenever needed.
• Side seam pockets. Deep pockets sit flush along the side seams, hidden beneath the volume of the upper tier. They hold small daily items without pulling the drape off balance.
• Linen care and wash. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand in warm water, then line dry in the shade. Steam iron if you prefer a smooth finish, or leave the natural linen texture as it dries.
