We cut these with a rounded barrel shape that bows out through the leg and pulls back in toward the hem. The lightweight linen blend is printed in alternating panels of dark blue and white gingham. An adjustable drawstring waist keeps the top flat and easy to adjust.

• Barrel leg shape. The outer seam curves outward through the mid-leg before tapering back down at the ankle. This keeps the volume off the hips while giving the cloth room to move as you walk.
• Drawstring waist. We built the waist with an internal channel and a flat drawstring cord. You can cinch it tight or let it sit lower on the hips without relying on stiff tailoring.
• Patchwork gingham weave. Dark blue and white checks run in pieced panels across the trousers. The linen blend is light, open to airflow, and softens after the first rinse.
• Side pockets and care. Two deep side pockets sit along the seam line so your hands rest naturally inside. Wash cold or lukewarm on a gentle cycle, avoid bleach, and hang dry to keep the weave intact.
